Contract
Duration: 12 months, commencing October 2026.
Qualifications
The post is aimed at individuals who have completed their higher surgical training, hold their Clinical Competence Training (CCT), and wish to develop a special interest in paediatric ENT surgery.
Responsibilities
- Perform general paediatric ENT surgery.
- Develop subspecialist expertise under the direction of nominated clinical consultant supervisors.
- Adapt to flexible working commitments with a total of 10 programmed activities (40 hours) per week, including on‑call duties.
- Participate in the multidisciplinary teaching and research programme for ENT surgery, including teaching ENT trainees and medical students from Birmingham University.
- Carry out audit activities and, when appropriate, take a guiding role for junior registrars in audit work.
