Creative Communities Manager

Job Summary

We’re recruiting two Creative Communities Managers to build relationships, foster creative conversations, and support community‑led cultural activity. You will work closely with residents and local partners, recruit and support ambassadors, and ensure local voices shape and lead cultural programmes.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Creative Tendring by establishing the listening, participation, and activation programme.
• Spend time in and bring creative engagement activity to local neighbourhoods, community centres, libraries, schools, festivals, cafés, parks, local organisations, seafront locations and other everyday spaces.
• Work closely with residents to build confidence and knowledge.
• Identify, recruit, support, and manage community ambassadors.
• Support communities to shape, influence, and lead future creative activity.
• Ensure community voices remain central to programme development and decision‑making.
