Planner

The Planner will co‑ordinate and assist in the production of a variety of documents to support the Preconstruction and Construction teams.

This role requires an attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure, often to demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively to become an integral member of the preconstruction team.
• Becoming involved with tender, pre‑construction and on‑site construction opportunities as they arise.
• Prepare and assist with the preparation of design, procurement and construction programmes using Powerproject software or similar.
• Through a combination of industry output and supply chain liaison develop and present tender programmes for review.
• Develop project strategies and prepare logistics plans and methodologies, whilst considering and scheduling site setups and major plant requirements, and reporting findings to internal and external teams, formulating and recommending solutions.
• Prepare and assist with the production of written reports and method statements for internal and external submissions.
• Work with site teams in the production of short‑term programmes to suit project requirements, and perform progress control and reporting functions.
