Installation Engineer, Auto Electrician (Mobile Role)

Location: Glasgow/Edinburgh + travel across the UK.

We are a leading global brand with a UK subsidiary that supplies parts and safety equipment to local authorities, haulage and waste providers. We need an Installation Engineer, Auto Electrician to perform installations, PPM and reactive maintenance on site and in workshops across Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles.
• Undertake installations, preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Install and maintain aftermarket products, dash cams, sensor systems, etc.
• Travel to client sites across Central UK using a company vehicle.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow a clear progression structure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Service Engineer or equivalent background in electrical/automotive industry.
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel.
• Commuter to Glasgow/Edinburgh and open to stayaways and national travel.
• Strong technical knowledge in field electrical work, maintenance, PPM.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Door to door pay, overtime and Sunday rates apply.
