Engineering Health and Safety Manager role within an established engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing business.
The Engineering Health and Safety Manager position is a mid-level, hands‑on role supporting health and safety and H&S compliance across manufacturing, fabrication, and site‑based engineering activities. The company designs, manufactures, installs, and services industrial machinery across a stable customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and manage risk assessments and method statements.
- Ensure health and safety compliance.
- Support engineering teams across factory and customer site environments.
- Maintain H&S records, training and certification tracking, and induction management.
- Ensure audit readiness.
- Carry out regular site visits, typically three days per week, across engineering and manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
- Experience in health and safety within engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing.
- A NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is required.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessments and UK H&S regulations.
