Job Description:

As a Software Engineer in Test Automation you will ensure the quality control of features developed within an Agile team:

  • By analysing requirements, developing and executing different suites of test cases and test plans
  • By documenting the results of test executions and guaranteeing the follow up of defect handling

Job Description

  • Analyse product requirements and specifications
  • Create adequate test plans, based on risk assessment and time constraints
  • In collaboration with other team members, design, estimate and implement test cases according to the test strategy and plan
  • Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery of features, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Be proactive to improve test coverage, test solutions at scale and to find defects early in development cycle
  • Write and keep up-to-date technical documentation in the appropriate data systems
  • Ensure ongoing communication with and feedback to development team during testing phase

Profile

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in ICT, Computer Science or equivalent degree / experience
  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in quality assurance or application testing
  • Familiar with Rest API testing (Postman)
  • Familiar with defect tracking software (Jira)
  • Experience in developing automated tests (Cypress, Playwright or Jest)

The following experiences are not mandatory and will be considered an asset:

  • ISTQB Certification
  • Familiar with Jira Xray, Confluence
  • Knowledge of Containers / Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience in Continuous Integration (preferably TeamCity)
  • Experience or knowledge of the Broadcast Industry

Languages:

  • Knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset
