Field Service Engineer – Lifecycle Services
This role will install products and carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on customer sites. You will train customers on the use of the equipment and train the customer technicians on service and maintenance. On occasion you may lead and supervise installations and may need to stay away for longer periods depending on workload.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to install and maintain all FMH conveyor products.
- Travel to customer sites to maintain other products within the Duravant Group when necessary.
- Train customers on the use of equipment.
- Train customer technicians on service and maintenance of the equipment.
- Carry out all jobs safely, adhering to Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
- Complete detailed site work reports upon pause or completion of works.
- Ensure compliance with all associated standards.
- Complete expense reporting in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a record of time worked, time for travel, etc.
- Strive to exhibit Duravant Core Values.
Requirements
- Experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation.
- Ability to travel both nationally and internationally.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Full driving licence.
