Position Overview

Join a well-established M&E and Renewable Energy contractor based in Lewes, East Sussex as a Lead Heat Pump Engineer. This role focuses on complete installations, servicing, and maintenance of air source heat pumps in domestic and commercial settings, with a career path to Mechanical Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities

• Complete installations, servicing and maintenance tasks on air source heat pumps within domestic and commercial settings.
• Provide technical support to clients and engineers.
• Work with internal teams to grow and develop the business’ heat pump installation and maintenance service offering, including surveying, quoting, and winning new business.
• Progress into a Mechanical Contracts Manager role as the business division expands, managing engineers, overseeing projects from conception to completion, and ensuring compliance across MCS regulations.
• Collaborate with the broader M&E sector on projects and contracts.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on technical background and experience installing and maintaining air source heat pumps.
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing.
• Experience overseeing engineers, managing projects, and ensuring site and project health and safety compliance.
• Based within a commutable distance of Lewes, East Sussex.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £45,000 – £50,000 (DOE)
