Manufacturing Engineer
We’re currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join an internationally established manufacturing team on a long‑term contract (outside IR35). You will play a key role in improving processes, optimizing equipment, reducing waste, and supporting new product launches while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and document production trials and equipment acceptance activities.
- Develop and implement process and equipment improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and reduce scrap.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop plant layouts and conduct capacity studies.
- Support PFMEA, DFM/A, ergonomic assessments, and engineering documentation.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and implement solutions.
- Promote and maintain strong 5S, Health & Safety, and quality standards.
About You
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Manufacturing or industrial process experience.
- Strong understanding of process flow and plant layout.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential.
