Role: Security Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 DOE + Door to Door + Van (personal use permitted @ 40p per mile)
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Shift: 40 hours per week (08:00-16:00)
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x / 2x (minimum 8 hours OT paid for scheduled out-of-hours work)
On Call: 1 in 9 rota (£25 per day standby + overtime rates + D2D)
Are you an experienced Security Maintenance Engineer looking to join a growing team working across enterprise-level security systems? My client is expanding and looking to add a skilled engineer to cover London and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business working across commercial, corporate and high-security environments, delivering high-quality maintenance and service support across integrated systems.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and fault‑finding security systems on site
- Working across Access Control, Intruder Alarms and CCTV systems
- Responding to reactive callouts and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing system faults and delivering effective repairs
- Completing service documentation accurately via digital systems
- Ensuring all work is completed to industry and client standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience with enterprise‑level security systems
- Strong knowledge of Access Control, Intruder Alarms and CCTV
- Fire alarm experience advantageous (basic understanding acceptable)
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Good customer‑facing and communication skills
Remuneration & Benefits
