A great Field Service Engineer role! We want to find an accomplished and qualified multi‑skilled engineer who has specific experience fault finding and ideally, specifically, of modifying and upgrading Siemens PLCs (or similar) used in end‑of‑line packaging machinery.
BASIC SALARY
Up to £50,000
BENEFITS
- Overtime to earn circa £65,000

LOCATION
Home based and ideally living in the Midlands or north of England (although Midlands preferable).
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS
Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Stoke, Sheffield, Leicester.
JOB DESCRIPTION
A classic Field Service Engineer role involving repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end‑of‑line packaging machinery including working with PLCs, ideally capable of fault finding, modifying and upgrading Siemens PLCs or similar.
You will be covering the whole of the UK and Ireland and will be expected to spend 2 to 3 nights per week away from home, plus work one weekend a month on average.
TRAINING
- Full training will be offered on the job and occasionally at HQ in Europe.
- Full training will also be provided on upgrading and modifying PLCs.
- Overtime is paid door to door.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- You must have a proven track record as a Field Service Engineer with hands‑on packaging machinery experience working in the food and/or beverage markets.
- You will be a multi‑skilled engineer with electrical & electronic engineering qualifications and ideally specific experience and training on fault finding, modifying and upgrading Siemens PLCs or similar.
- We will consider applicants with a track record as a Factory Maintenance Engineer who have hands‑on end‑of‑line packaging machinery experience used in the food and/or beverage market and who have the PLC knowledge mentioned above.
