Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Air Conditioning Engineer based in Willersey. The engineer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining air conditioning (HVAC) systems across a range of commercial and residential projects. Day‑to‑day tasks include diagnosing system issues, carrying out repairs, and performing scheduled preventative maintenance. The role involves collaborating with project managers, other engineers, and clients to deliver projects from concept to completion, ensuring systems meet safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards. The engineer will also keep accurate records of work carried out, follow company Health & Safety procedures, and support continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong HVAC Engineering and general HVAC skills, including understanding of cooling, and ventilation systems and their components.
- Candidates should possess F‑GAS certification.
- Candidates should possess maintenance & repair skills for diagnosing faults, performing corrective repairs, and carrying out preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, building services, or HVAC (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of applicable building regulations, safety standards, and best practices in heating and air conditioning engineering is desirable.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team are important.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites within the region.
