Maintenance and Projects Engineer (Leeds Based LS9)

The Role

• Conduct planned, proactive and reactive maintenance across an automated manufacturing plant, including electrical and mechanical fault finding on complex systems.
• Support the site controls engineer in projects to modify and upgrade systems, including PLC’s (mainly Siemens), drives, robots (ABB) and HMIs.

Required Experience

• Qualified to NVQ 3 as a minimum in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience maintaining an automated manufacturing plant.
• Experience in one or more of the following (highly beneficial): PLC programming or modifications, robot programming, machine upgrades.
