Industrial Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer – Kent

Position: Full‑time. Salary: £22 per hour (based on a 40‑hour week). Door‑to‑door travel paid at 1.5x overtime rate. 8:30am – 5:00pm schedule (1-hour lunch). 22 days holiday, bank holidays, Christmas shutdown. Call‑out rota 1 in 4. Additional benefits: company bonus schemes, company van & fuel card, pension & death in service, sick pay, tools, uniform & PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites.
• Diagnose, service, and fault‑find on chillers and refrigeration units for key clients in food production and distribution.
• Work independently while coordinating with a wider team to minimise client downtime.
• Support large‑scale plant operations and ammonia projects (with training).
• Provide service, maintenance, and fault finding for industrial refrigeration systems, glycol chillers, and other chillers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial refrigeration service and maintenance.
• F‑Gas Certification (C&G 2079).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to safety standards.
• Willingness to develop within industrial refrigeration (if not already experienced).
