Contracts Manager – High Voltage
Location: Hamilton, commutable from Glasgow, East Kilbride, Motherwell, Coatbridge, Airdrie, Wishaw.
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 + Car Allowance + 33 days holiday + Excellent benefits.
Overview
Are you a Contracts Manager or senior electrical professional with High Voltage experience looking to lead and grow a new business unit within a successful engineering organisation?
This rare opportunity allows you to take ownership of a developing High Voltage division, with responsibility for operational performance, commercial growth, customer relationships and team development.
Our established engineering business delivers electrical services across the utilities, manufacturing, power generation and infrastructure sectors. Due to continued expansion, we are now looking for a driven individual to lead the growth of our High Voltage operation in Hamilton.
In this role you will manage the day‑to‑day running of the profit centre, oversee contracts, budgets, commercial performance and project delivery. You will also play a key role in winning new business, developing client relationships and driving long‑term growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a High Voltage profit centre within an established engineering business
- Manage operational performance, budgets, contracts and profitability
- Develop new and existing client relationships to drive business growth
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Qualifications
- Experience managing contracts, operations or projects within the electrical industry
- Strong commercial awareness with P&L and budget management experience
- Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical engineering services
- Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
Benefits
