Azure Integrations Engineer

Manchester – Hybrid (Ideally 3 days per week onsite)

Overview

We’re supporting a major technology transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Azure Integrations Engineer to join a fast-paced delivery team.

The role will focus on designing, building and supporting cloud-native integrations across a range of enterprise applications and platforms, whilst helping migrate legacy integration services onto a modern Azure architecture.

This is a hands‑on engineering position suited to someone who enjoys building scalable, secure and reliable integrations within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations using Azure Integration Services.
• Build and maintain APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
• Develop event‑driven solutions using Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and Function Apps.
• Support migration from legacy integration platforms to Azure.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and operational support processes.
• Develop secure integrations using OAuth2, JWT and Managed Identity.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Work closely with engineering, architecture and business teams.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Integration Services.
• Commercial experience with:
• Experience implementing OAuth2 and API security.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity and Application Insights.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging and event‑driven architecture.
• Experience building resilient integrations with monitoring, retry and error‑handling capabilities.
• Experience migrating from MuleSoft, BizTalk or similar middleware platforms.
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform or Bicep.
• Retail, hospitality or consumer‑facing industry experience.
