Senior Estimator – RC Frames + Groundworks – Hertfordshire

Estimator / Senior Estimator

Location: Hertfordshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £80,000 – £120,000 per annum depending on experience. Salary & benefits negotiable at interview. Eligible for PAYE or self‑employed options. Car allowance and annual bonus included.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender submissions for concrete frame and groundwork packages in and around London.
• Measure and take‑offs from drawings.
• Produce bills of quantities.
• Plan costs and build up tender prices from first principles based on plans, programme and scope of works.
• Attend pre‑ and post‑contract meetings with clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an estimator for an RC Frame or Groundwork subcontractor in the United Kingdom.
• Strong knowledge of pricing and tender preparation for concrete frame and groundwork packages in the South East and London.
• Ability to prepare tender submissions for projects ranging from £5 million to £30 million.
