We are looking for a Tender/Proposals Engineer with a solid mechanical background in rotating equipment, who is ready to take the next step in a global company that offers extensive training, development opportunities and a strong benefits package.
Overview
In this role you will be responsible for the specification, tendering and proposal development for components, equipment and projects that support a spares and service business. You will provide tendering support from initial enquiry to contract handover, ensuring proposals meet customer needs, scope, deadlines and company profitability. Extensive technical progression is offered, with increased size and scope of projects over time.
Responsibilities
- Provide a customer‑focused service that delivers proposals in a timely and efficient manner
- Review and evaluate detailed technical specifications to extract applicable client requirements
- Establish and maintain regular communication with key clients, including, where necessary, site visits
The Person
- Previous experience as a Tendering or Proposals Engineer, or a desire to move into this role
- Experience in the rotating machinery / equipment product/service field (pumps, valves, turbines, etc.) is desirable
- Strong relationship building, negotiation and collaboration skills
