Field Service Engineer – Electrical

Mid England – Oxford – Warwick – Nottingham – Norwich – Ipswich – Luton areas

40 hrs per week (OT might be available)

Salary up to £38,000 + Excellent company benefits!

We are looking for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a well-established provider of standby power solutions. This role offers the chance to work with a company that oversees the full lifecycle of its products – from design and production through to installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance – supporting a wide range of critical power applications across the UK and beyond.

Core Duties

  • Organise & complete service visits
  • Position, install, commission, and repair equipment at customer sites
  • Extensive travel within the UK and occasionally asked to travel outside the UK.

Depending on the service and installation requirements, this role may at times cross over into sales and technical support. Travel – expect plenty of travel, with overnight stays on an average weekly basis. Some overseas travel could be available.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Field Service Engineer with experience working at customer sites
  • A person with demonstrable experience working in a safe manner

Qualifications / Knowledge Required

  • 18th edition (desirable) – test and inspect
  • Electronic fault finding to component level
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic wiring diagrams and associated technical drawings
  • Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Knowledge of IEC wiring regulations
