Senior Power Electronics Engineer

I’m recruiting for a growing engineering business that designs electromechanical products for use in harsh environments across the globe. They are looking for an experienced Power Electronics Engineer on a six‑month contract (high chance of extension) to take a few products through concept/R&D to prototype and release. The work involves designing BMS, low‑voltage electronics and power supplies for use in ruggedised environments.

Up to £75ph (Outside IR35)

Skills Required

• Knowledge of designing BMS
• Understanding of power electronics in harsh environments (heat, temperature, pressure, shock)
• Experience and willingness to work in a fast, dynamic R&D environment
• Exposure to O&G, electric vehicles, aerospace, avionics or autonomous vehicle industry beneficial

Although the role is Outside IR35, the work must be completed on‑site 100% due to the nature of the team and business.
