HVAC Engineer – Servicing & Maintenance (Commercial)

Location: Cambridge & surrounding areas (East Anglia). The role is a mobile‑based position covering commercial properties such as retail stores and offices.

Employment Package

• Role: HVAC Engineer
• Employment status: Permanent, PAYE
• Base salary: £44,000
• Expected earnings: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum
• Location: Cambridge & surrounding regions (up to a 90‑minute radius)
• Hours: 9‑hour working day, e.g. 07:00 am–4:00 pm or 08:00 am–5:00 pm, depending on site traffic
• Additional travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• Call‑out rota: 1 in 6 weeks with £100 standby allowance and a minimum of 4 hours pay if called out
• Holidays: 34 days (26 regular + 8 bank holidays)
• Benefits: company van (business use), fuel card, pension scheme (up to 8 % match), other company benefits
• Work: servicing, breakdown, and repair of split units, multi‑split units, VRV/VAV/VRV, AHU/FCU systems
• Environments: commercial – retail stores and offices

Responsibilities

Attend a wide range of commercial properties to carry out servicing, breakdown, and repair works on HVAC equipment, including split units, multi‑split units, VRV/VAV/VRV, and AHU/FCU systems.

Requirements

• Hold an F‑Gas certification
• Comfortable working independently on servicing and breakdown works
• Qualified HVAC Engineer
