Maintenance Shift Engineer
Location: Wednesbury. Salary: £40,385. Shift pattern: 4 On / 4 Off Days & Nights.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs on a range of production equipment, including:
- Conveyor systems
- Industrial washing machines
- Linen presses
- Dryers
- Feeders, folders & ironers
- Steam and chemical feed systems
Mechanical: 90‑95%Electrical: 5‑10% (motors, contactors, sensors, testing & fault finding)No PLC programming or robotics.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 engineering qualification (Level 2 considered)
- Mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or production
- Basic electrical fault‑finding skills
- Overseas qualifications welcomed
Shift Pattern
- 4 Days (06:00‑18:00)
- 4 Off
- 4 Nights (18:00‑06:00)
- 4 Off
- 12‑hour shifts with two 30‑minute unpaid breaks
- First four weeks are Monday‑Friday days for training and induction
