Deputy Engineering Manager – Sizewell C – Suffolk Site based Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. The project is a 3.2‑gigawatt power station that will generate low‑carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in the energy future, providing reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.

This role will be within the Enabling and Earthwork Section, supporting the Engineering Manager to manage and coordinate construction engineering for the Enabling Works and Earthworks portions during the delivery phase. The scope includes access bridges, sea defence, retaining structures, environmental barriers, TBM launch shafts and marine delivery structures.

What will you do?

Ensure right‑first‑time delivery of engineering activities, coordinating across Methods, Temporary/Permanent Works, Digital Engineering, Quality, Materials and Survey. Assist in establishing the organisation and resource structure with the necessary skills and experience for the section of work. Work with technical leads, clients and stakeholders to manage complex technical interfaces. Collaborate with procurement, commercial, information management, digital engineering and project controls to maintain robust project‑management principles and support efficient delivery. Establish and manage a delivery strategy in accordance with industry, CWA and Sizewell C procedures.
