What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Process customer orders
  • Prepare and issue customer quotations via email and telephone
  • Select the correct stock in accordance with quotes and customer needs
  • Liaise with credit control regarding account status and notify them of orders over $10,000
  • Work with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery and pass cost savings to customers
  • Liaise with purchasing regarding lead times and update customers on order status changes
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly KPIs
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is achieved
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and redirect as necessary
  • Provide customers with required technical information
  • Identify opportunities to extend PDQ support to new and existing customers
  • Participate in continuous improvement opportunities, suggesting process changes to increase efficiency and service levels
  • Perform other related tasks as advised by a supervisor, manager, or director

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Sales Associate or Sales Executive
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn and work within company proprietary software
  • Computer savvy and willingness to learn company proprietary software program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Demonstrates strong customer‑service attitude and demeanor
  • Multilingual is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
