Based from the office in Leigh, you will be looking after a range of existing customers across the country, maintaining and developing their accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor sales within the accounts across the territory to demonstrate and promote the company’s full product range.
- Regularly meet with customers to ensure product offering and build strong relationships.
- Analyse sales data and account progression including daily/weekly/monthly reports to monitor sales performance.
- Organise travel to schedule and achieve sales meetings, arranging travel and accommodation as required.
- Complete and review visit reports and ensure all customer follow‑up from visits is prioritised.
- Attend industry events including catalogue launches, exhibitions, roadshows, and customer end‑user shows.
- Develop product knowledge of the full company range and service offering.
- Assess trends and competitor product offering and feed information back into the business.
- Liaise with customers regarding any issues and support them with after‑sales, working closely with the internal sales team as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar field‑based Account Manager or Field Sales role.
- Background in office‑based B2B Account Manager or similar and a desire for the next step may also be considered.
- Comfortable using Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong relationship builder with superb communication skills.
- Highly organised with a flexible attitude and proven ability to plan and prioritise.
- Commercially minded with excellent negotiation skills.
- Stable career history.
- Full current driving licence.
