About the Role

Passionate about shaping the future of A Level Humanities? Join our London-based Further Education team as a Curriculum Manager and lead the development and delivery of outstanding, industry-relevant programmes that shape your students’ futures.

As a Curriculum Manager for A level Humanities, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our strategic objectives and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and learner experience across our Humanities curriculum (A levels in History, Politics, Law, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Economics, Business and future V-Levels) and services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on the development and delivery of outstanding educational provision.
  • Work collaboratively with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices that support both learners and colleagues to thrive.
  • Line manage teaching and support staff, driving performance and accountability.
  • Design, plan, and deliver high-quality, learner-focused curriculum programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with funding regulations and quality assurance processes.
  • Use data effectively to improve learner attendance, retention, and progression.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective and high-impact delivery.
  • Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits, inspections (e.g. Ofsted), and quality reviews.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in leading teams or departments within an educational or comparable setting.
  • Deep understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, and student achievement.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and people management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to build effective partnerships internally and externally.
  • Commitment to creating inclusive and empowering learning environments.
  • Proactive, strategic mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learner success.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or willingness to obtain these) with experience teaching one of the following subjects: A levels in History, Politics, Law, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Economics, Business.
  • Experience in high-quality curriculum design and delivery at a senior level.
  • Full‑time, permanent role.
