Requirements
- 4 to 7+ years of experience in institutional finance analysis.
- Background in investment banking credit, DCM, leveraged finance, private equity or credit, or asset management.
- Strong understanding of IC memos, financial modeling, deal screening, portfolio monitoring, and credit risk workflows.
- Self-taught coding skills with Python, SQL, and basic scripting.
- Ability to prototype and automate workflows using tools such as Excel, Python, and LangChain.
- Experience building something with LLMs within the last 12 months, such as a RAG pipeline, agentic workflow, or document automation solution.
- Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements and explain AI limitations clearly to stakeholders.
- Confidence in pushing back on scope creep and bridging analyst and technical perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Shadow credit analysts at private equity firms and asset managers to understand their workflows in depth.
- Reverse‑engineer workflows related to IC memos, deal screening, portfolio monitoring, and credit risk.
- Design multi‑step AI agent logic that automates analyst workflows.
- Prototype and ship first versions of solutions within days.
- Present prototypes to partners and C‑suite stakeholders.
- Manage scope and drive adoption of solutions.
- Hand prototypes over to engineers for productization.
- Work embedded with clients rather than from an office writing requirements documents.

This is a permanent position offering a base salary of £90,000 to £120,000, plus a 20% to 30% bonus and equity.
