Job Title: Health & Safety Manager
Salary: Up to £60,000 p.a. (DOE)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pmFriday 8:30am – 4:00pm
Overview
As the Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for promoting a positive HSE culture across the client’s manufacturing facility.
Duties
- Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & procedures
- Supporting implementation of HSE Policies to drive improvements and gain / maintain certification
- Promoting a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed.
- Investigation of site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis
- Facilitating the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams / managers
- Internal Auditing / Supplier auditing with reporting and follow up of findings
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years experience as a Health & Safety Manager (Essential)
- NEBOSH & or COSHH certified (Essential)
- 3 – 5 years experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential)
- Absolute understanding of ISO14001 & 45001 (Essential)
