About the Role
You’ll own in‑market execution across your territory – ensuring products are listed, available and correctly executed in‑store. As part of an early‑stage venture environment, you’ll combine field sales, activation, and territory ownership (Greater Manchester), while feeding real‑time insights back to the venture team
What You’ll Do
- Manage a territory of independent & multi‑channel retail accounts (convenience, tobacconists, CTN, forecourts, off‑trade)
- Drive numeric distribution and ensure correct SKU presence
- Open new retail accounts and expand distribution from a low base
- Plan and execute structured store visits; resolve availability issues
- Negotiate and optimise in‑store presence (range, placement, visibility)
- Manage relationships with wholesalers & distributors
- Deploy PoS materials and ensure compliance with UK tobacco/nicotine regulations
- Oversee third‑party agencies and ensure execution quality
- Provide structured market feedback and insights
What You Bring
- Proven experience in field sales, territory management or trade activation – ideally within regulated environments (tobacco, nicotine, alcohol or similar)
- Strong understanding of the UK convenience & independent retail landscape
- Hands‑on experience with trade marketing and PoS deployment
- Confident negotiator with strong influencing skills at store level
- Familiarity with UK tobacco & nicotine regulations (TRPR, ASA, age verification)
- Full UK driving licence
