Are you passionate about Health and Safety and thrive having the responsibility for local, multiple sites?

I am looking for a Pro-Active and highly visible Health and Safety Manager to work with a manufacturing business in the Coventry area, covering a few sites locally. In this role you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining the Health and Safety Standards for the business.

What you will be doing:

• Be responsible for Health and Safety concerns for multiple sites, including developing, managing and monitoring HSE matters
• Be the ‘go to’ expert for all matters regarding HSE and work with the senior leadership team, offering guidance where required
• Promote a positive attitude to safe working and collaborate with all internal stakeholders
• Be the first port of call for all external agencies regarding HSE matters
• Keep the business compliant with changing regulations and implement any needed changes
• Implement and develop a robust culture of Health and Safety
• Ensure all documentation is up to date and maintained

Skills Experience

• Proven track record working as an HSE Manager within manufacturing
• Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and implement change
• Minimum NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
• Excellent communicator at all levels, both verbally and written
• Able to work autonomously and pro-actively
• Organised and able to work under pressure
• Experience working in heavy industry or hazardous environments (desirable)
