The Role
As Head of Sales Performance & Effectiveness you’ll set the global approach to improving sales outcomes across Wealth and Premier distribution. The role focuses on turning insight into action – shaping strategy, optimising processes and strengthening how performance is measured and managed. You’ll partner across Insurance, Asset Management, Private Banking and Premier to align sales practices and priorities. A key part of the remit is building a sales management framework that supports both financial performance and broader measures of success. You’ll also shape incentives and sales platform utilisation to improve productivity across sales roles. Success means clearer performance management, better decision‑making from analytics and consistent execution across markets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and champion the global vision and strategy for Sales Performance & Effectiveness aligned to organisational goals
- Shape the sales management framework for the Premier and Wealth distribution team across financial and non‑financial performance
- Identify opportunities to uplift performance using robust business insights and proprietary analysis
- Align sales effectiveness initiatives to business priorities across Markets, Propositions, Channels and Functions
- Partner with stakeholders across Insurance, Asset Management, Private Banking and Premier to optimise sales practices
- Deliver incentive implementation and continuous model optimisation in partnership with global P&R
- Design the sales platform approach and strengthen utilisation to boost productivity across sales roles
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure distribution effectiveness and overall business performance
What We’re Looking For
- Deep understanding of sales and service strategies in financial services, including channel and product management and sales process optimisation
- Experience setting strategic direction across Group, Region and Market teams in a matrix environment
- Broad understanding of Wealth and Premier banking, including issues shaping customer and marketing agendas
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems and how they support sales management and productivity
- Sales operations, analytics and planning experience to turn data into actionable insights, including Distribution Operating Plan inputs
- Awareness of culture, supervision and conduct frameworks, regulatory and competitor factors
- Influence senior stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation
- Ability to plan and manage complex projects while prioritising multiple demands with strong numerical and analytical capability
