Our client based in Nelson is looking for an experienced Laser Operator on a permanent basis, the client is a well-respected manufacturer and are looking for candidates with experience on
The Job
Operating Trumpf CNC Laser machines, both CO2 & Fibre
Accepting deliveries of raw materials
Dispatching finished products
Carrying out regular services and maintenance on machines
Delivering finished products across the north of England when required
Keeping the work area clean and tidy
Meeting deadlines
keeping regular check of stock
Loading/Unloading HGV’s
About you
Ability to understand, interpret and work to Engineering drawings and to work to tight tolerances
Team player with the ability to work alone and use own initiative with minimum supervision.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Flexibility to support the business needs.
An in-depth knowledge of laser machining.
A commitment to implement and develop business improvement initiatives across the cell.
