Role Description Deal Sourcing Lead’s are responsible for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets in our CRM, using research tools. Day-to-day tasks include analysing financial and operational data, preparing summaries and reports for leadership, and coordinating initial conversations with business owners and advisors. Deal Sourcing Lead’s collaborate closely with the acquisitions team to support preliminary due diligence.

Role Type This role is a contract hire. Candidates are expected to work 20-30 hours per week. Candidates will work remotely. Must be UK based. Hours are flexible, between 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri. Comp. includes base pay for the number of hours worked and a commission payment each time a deal opportunity is successfully sourced.

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial performance, market conditions, and business viability.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to engage with business owners, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess relationship-building skills to develop and maintain a network of deal sources and partners.
  • Candidates should possess skills to manage pipelines, assess opportunities, and prioritise potential acquisitions.
  • Relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, private equity, or investment banking is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities concurrently, and make sound, data-driven recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and CRM or deal-tracking systems.
