We are seeking an individual to join our busy expanding Day Surgery team at the Galloway Community Hospital in Stranraer. We require an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can work well as part of a team and handle a fast turnover of patients undergoing a variety of procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist and work with the established teams in the delivery of various patient care procedures, both within Day Surgery and across the Galloway Community Hospital. Perform duties required of a band 3 HCSW, with training provided. Handle shift work to meet the needs of the service. Undertake enhanced skills and develop professionally.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated flexibility to meet service needs. Good organisational skills, ability to work well both individually and as part of a team, and ability to effectively deal with ever‑changing priorities.
