The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Northampton. This is a full-time position starting on 14th May 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £35 – £45. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will perform a range of invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records. You will ensure all procedures are carried out in accordance with hospital protocols and safety standards. You will participate in on-call duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).
    • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.
    • Relevant qualifications and experience in invasive cardiac physiology.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
