An exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker within the Children’s Complex Care Team.
Overview
The role involves varied shift patterns within a team of Clinical Support Workers and Registered Nurses, delivering care to highly dependent children in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care for highly dependent children at home.
- Work flexible shifts within a supportive team environment.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Travel throughout the service delivery area as required.
Qualifications
- Caring disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, reliability and respect for client confidentiality.
- Previous community experience with highly dependent children is advantageous.
- SVQ in Health and Social Care Level 3 desirable.
Other Requirements
The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information is available from the PVG scheme website.
Hours and Pay
As of 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours, with a pro‑rata adjustment for part‑time staff. The hourly rate will be increased accordingly so pay is maintained.
