An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Mental Health Team as a Senior Social Worker. The post requires an individual who has a sound knowledge of Social Work practice, legislation and its related statutory responsibilities along with an understanding of the available local resources and systems. An awareness and understanding of the Mental Health Act would be beneficial. Working with colleagues in the local authority, health economy and voluntary sector we aim to maximise the independence of individuals using a strength-based approach.
Responsibilities
The post has responsibility for the line management of staff and therefore supervisory experience is valuable and focus on outcomes, performance, staff wellbeing, recruitment and retention and strengths-based approach to intervention.
