Overview
Children’s Home Mildenhall is recruiting Senior Residential Support Workers to join our support team. In this role you will provide compassionate care to young people and support the Registered Manager in running a successful staff team and overseeing daily operations.
Responsibilities
You will support and care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, supervise staff, update care plans, and help manage the small holding with farm animals for enrichment.
Qualifications
- A Level 3 Qualification in Children’s Residential and Childcare (essential).
- Previous experience within a residential childcare setting.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Resilience, communication, organisational skills, caring and attentiveness.

Other Information
All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening, including DBS checks, and provide at least two references covering the last three years. References may be requested prior to interview, especially for school roles.
Salary is £15.45 – £15.60 per hour, plus an average of six sleep‑ins per month at £55 per sleep‑in.
