Residential Child Care Worker
Our Children’s Residential Service are expanding with new Homes in East Lancashire. We need passionate, dedicated individuals to work in homes based in Padiham, Burnley & Clitheroe. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary £28,142 – £32,061 per annum, based on full‑time hours

What you can expect from us
We provide a detailed induction programme, ongoing 1:1 reflective sessions with managers, a comprehensive Employee Support Offer, and networking opportunities with other child‑support professionals.
Responsibilities
Work from a children’s home where children and young people aged 11‑17 years live. Sleep and dine with the children, perform basic household tasks (cleaning, cooking, shopping). Provide 1:1 work around feelings, emotions and behaviours, listen and engage children, and maintain linkages with other professionals such as social workers, schools, police and health workers to meet our children’s needs. The role will be undertaken on a rota basis, covering a mix of days, evenings, weekends and sleep‑in shifts.
