Minimum of 1 hour visits with your regular clients, so you have the time to build great relationships and you don’t feel rushed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create a positive living environment that enhances our clients’ quality of life.
  • Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs or living conditions.
  • Maintain regular communication with your line manager and office staff.

Companionship Services (including, but not limited to)

  • Offer companionship and engaging conversation to brighten clients’ days.
  • Monitor diet and eating habits to promote a balanced and nutritious lifestyle.
  • Stimulate and encourage clients through a variety of activities, such as selecting outfits, exploring hobbies, and crafting.
  • Arrange and provide gentle reminders for appointments, activities, and outings.
  • Help with travel arrangements and accompany clients to appointments and social events.
  • Organize mail, write letters, assist with walking, and help clients stay connected and active.

Home Help Services (including, but not limited to)

  • Run errands, collect prescriptions, and help with daily tasks.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks: dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, washing and ironing, taking out rubbish, and caring for houseplants.
  • Organize and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates, and keep everything neat and orderly.

Requirements

  • Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (generous mileage allowance).
  • Unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
  • Experience as a Care Professional or HCA Support Worker preferred, but training is provided for those new to care.
  • Opportunities to gain NVQs in Health & Social Care through in‑house Learning & Development training.
