Role Overview

Care Assistant (Driver Required) – Orpington. Salary £14.90 – £15.70 post‑probation (potential increase to £16.60 per hour). Flexible shifts, live‑in care, and extensive training. Bluebird Care is the UK’s leading provider of private Care at Home.

Location & Contract

Location: Bromley, Orpington. Contract type: Care Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, meal preparation, medication support and companionship to vulnerable adults in the community.
• Complete the Care Certificate and work alongside experienced staff for training and shadowing.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Kind, dependable healthcare assistant who genuinely cares about improving quality of life for adults.
• Live in Orpington or within reasonable commuting distance of Sevenoaks.
• Have access to a car that can be used for work as a driver.
• Will undergo DBS checking and references in accordance with government regulations.

What We Offer

• Probationary rate £14.90 – £15.00 per hour, post‑probation £15.05 – £15.70 per hour.
• Tax‑free mileage at 35p per mile.
• Paid DBS, shadowing and £336 training & passing probation payment.
