Job Overview

Academics are currently seeking an enthusiastic 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a ‘GOOD’ Ofsted rated rural primary school on the outskirts of Nantwich.

Responsibilities

You will support a child’s communication, social, emotional and interaction skills, following and delivering a speech and language care plan, monitoring progress towards targets. You will deliver daily support with reading and sentence writing sessions, support positive learning exchanges and assist in the understanding of the purpose of lessons.

• Ability to build good working relationships with pupils and adults
• Good organisational skills
• Flexibility and creativity
• Enjoy working with children
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience working with children with autism
• Patience and a sense of humour
