Learning Support Assistant – SEND Education
Based in Benfleet, Essex. Full‑time position.
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is dedicated and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs. The school caters for children and young adults from 5 to 18 years old with varied needs such as ASD, ADHD, PMLD, Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Experience supporting young adults or children in education
- Experience or willingness to assist with personal care
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively
- A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months
