Location: Harrow, part of Circle Health Group. Bank Shifts. Salary: £12.71 per hour.

Overview

We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join the Imaging department. The role is a bank position working on an as and when required basis. You will supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during annual leave or absences.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing a high standard of patient‑centred care and meeting the needs of patients, consultants and colleagues.




• Work within the multi‑disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain and enhance customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.




• Behave professionally within the HCA/Imaging Assistants standard framework, understanding the standards in accordance with the NMC Codes of professional Conduct & the HCPC.




• Demonstrate competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of your working areas.




• Work alongside the multi‑disciplinary team to provide safe and high‑quality care for patients.




• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.




• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.




• Care Certificate.




• NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.




• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.




• Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
