Responsibilities
The successful Cover LSA will be responsible for supporting pupils with their learning, assisting the class teacher with classroom activities, helping to maintain a purposeful learning environment, providing one-to-one or small group support where required, and supporting pupils social, emotional and academic development.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or education setting
- A patient, caring and supportive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Flexibility to support across different classes and year groups
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in school life
- A commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing
