Band: 5 | Location: Central London | Start: ASAP | Duration: 3 months | Rate: £22‑£24 per hour | Working hours: Monday – Friday

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Non‑Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high‑quality cardiac diagnostic services. The successful candidate will perform a range of non‑invasive cardiac tests and ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ECGs, Holter monitoring and exercise tolerance tests and accurately record results.
  • Explain procedures, ensure patients’ comfort, and provide information on heart health and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and contribute to patient care plans.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment, adhere to clinical protocols and stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac diagnostics.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, assist in the training and supervision of junior staff and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Cardiac Physiology or related field.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience in a non‑invasive cardiac diagnostic setting.
  • Proficiency in conducting ECGs, Holter monitoring and exercise tolerance tests.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording test results.
