Job responsibilities
- Organise and oversee the smooth running of shifts.
- Ensure the wellbeing of all service users.
- Respond to challenges or concerns and supervise support staff.
- Plan and organise daily activities for residents.
- Administer medication, maintain medication administration records and carry out H&S checks.
- Communicate with families and other professionals, and prepare daily reports.
- Manage budgets, complete financial audits and oversee daily operational paperwork.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care.
- Support residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience as a Senior Support Worker or extensive mental health care experience.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Leadership skills and experience.
- Strong empathy, compassion and communication skills.
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviours and maintain a professional, positive attitude.
- Local to the area or within a commutable distance.

Must live in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK full time. 20‑hour Student and Skilled Worker visas are not accepted.
