Job Description:

As a Senior Night Care Worker, you’ll help ensure residents feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night while providing leadership and guidance to colleagues. Your experience and professionalism will help maintain high standards of care and create a reassuring environment for residents and their families.

What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate care delivery during night shifts
  • Support residents with personal care and overnight needs
  • Administer medication safely and accurately
  • Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks
  • Respond to changing needs and emergency situations
  • Support and mentor colleagues on shift
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication at handover

About you

You will have experience working in a care setting and a strong understanding of person‑centred care. You’re organised, dependable and confident supporting colleagues while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism. You must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare and be willing to work towards, or already hold, an SVQ Level 4 qualification. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.

Eligibility Requirements

The role requires a Christian faith and the ability to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
