Community Support Worker l Full Time| Adult Disability Service – Lancaster & Morecambe l Full Time

Overview

Salary £25,949 – £25,989 per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Lancaster and Morecambe Domiciliary Service (White Cross)

We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals to join our Domiciliary Service as Support Workers. You will help people throughout Lancashire with daily activities and support them in building an active life.

Responsibilities

• Visit people’s homes and support them with personal care, household chores, finances, medication and other daily needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities, such as shopping trips and outdoor outings.
• Offer kindness, warmth and support to improve the quality of life for service users.
• Provide reliable care in 37‑hour weeks, including sleep‑overs and weekend work.

No previous health or social care background required. All necessary training is provided. Successful candidates will need to comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) ‘disclosure’.
