Key Responsibilities
- The post holder will provide training and support to staff gaining qualifications/accreditations within the dispensary, support the induction of new staff, and work in the dispensary and at ward level as per rota.
- Line‑manage and supervise the work of dispensary Senior Pharmacy assistants.
- Support supervision of Pharmacy assistants, Apprentices and volunteers within the dispensary to ensure cohesive working relationships.
- Ensure mandatory training and appraisals are kept up to date for the team.
- Work as part of the dispensary and clinical pharmacy team, providing medicines optimisation service to wards and dispensary services.
